Contact lenses are a great alternative to glasses and refractive surgery. However, it is essential that they are selected carefully and fit appropriately and safely in order to maintain optimal eye health. One size or type does not fit all!
Every pair of lenses are fit and managed by Dr. Bussey. She has received extensive training through the Illinois College of Optometry and Kresge Eye Institute. For the past ten years she has continued fitting various types of contact lenses at the Kresge Eye Institute. She has also served as an adjunct faculty member for several optometry schools, and continues to teach optometry students and ophthalmology residents how to fit and manage contact lenses for varying conditions and disorders.
Dr. Bussey is extremely knowledgeable in all forms of contact lenses, and is well versed in fitting cosmetic as well as specialty contact lenses (for conditions such as keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration and severe dry eye).
